I’m just too busy to workout,
said the entrepreneur or young executive. That used to be me until I discovered the power of circuit training.
A Little Bit of Workout History
Growing up I was the chubby kid; not super fat but chubby enough to remember being teased. When I was 14 I started playing football and slowly started to develop my body. By the time I was in college, I was ripped. I don’t think it was that tough to do when I was involved in 2 sports (football and track) which kept me running around, literally, all year long.

Things Started to Change
Fast forward a couple of years after I hung up my football helmet and my track shoes; things started to change. My focus changed and my mental activity went up and my physical activity went down. I went to the Dominican Republic with my lovely wife and took a picture that had me say, “Man, something really has to change.”
There Must be a Different Way to Get Results
Despite my athletic background, I don’t like to run, for the sake of running. I don’t like doing 3 sets of 10 of any exercise. With that being said, I needed to find a different way to get my exercise in.
I do enjoy hiking, but that is very seasonal and can be a beating on my knees. Oh, did I mention anytime I have tried to sprint I would pull a hamstring? Don’t cry for me Argentina, the truth is that I never left you. The thing that never left me was my brain and willingness to try different things. In came, what I think can be helpful to all your super busy entrepreneur and exec types…
Get on the Circuit
I did some research and I found really cool workout on Military.com and added a little bit of Tim Ferris’s life hacking and there, ladies and gentlemen, is my workout. I do this 2 times a week and it takes me 20 to 40 minutes to complete.
If you need any motivation to get started, you could try buying some new workout clothing as an incentive. I found that buying some new shorts gave me the kick up the bum that I needed to get going, firstly because I wanted to wear my new shorts and secondly because I didn’t want them to become a waste of money. Ryderwear is a good place to look if you want to try this. Let me know how it works for you after you watch the short video below.
My goal is to help you Run the Point (Take Action) from where you are, with what you have.
Your Ambassador,
Mike Bruny
