As you may know by now, I recently accepted a position as the Digital Content Manager for Babson College‘s Executive Education department.

It’s a new chapter in my life…kinda.

Babson College and I Have History

2005 – Heard Suzy Welch speak there and thought it was the coolest place ever because of its focus on teaching entrepreneurship.

2007 – My buddy Joel and I both worked the same shift (nights) and would go to a conference room and practice for the GMAT. We even went to an open house at Babson together. That is where I first met Allyssa Bates who was working in admissions at the time. We hit it off after finding out we both have degrees in Sport Management from UMASS Amherst. While working at Intel I tried to get my manager to pay for an MBA from Babson and they said, “No.” Financial worry whilst studying for an MBA is on a lot of students’ minds, back then I did not have resources like https://fortunaadmissions.com/2017/11/07/maximizing-need-based-financial-aid-for-an-mba/ to help me, so I was not able to go for it.

2008 – I spoke to a group of multicultural students at Babson through a program I ran called, “Hip Hop Affirmations.”

2009-10 – I attended the graduate student run entrepreneurial forums (conference). It’s where I met Babson alum and friend Sharlene Sones.

2010 – My wife applies and gets accepted into their MBA Fast Track Program (Now known as their Blended MBA). “Yes,” it’s the one I was going to apply for but Intel would pay for it.

2012 – my wife graduates from Babson with an MBA.

2015 -I reconnect with a long time acquaintance who happens to work at Babson.

2016 – I start working at Babson (May 23, 2016). I accepted the offer on May 9 which is my birthday; How cool is that.

And we lived happily ever after.

More to come on my Babson journey.

I have a deep desire to help spread entrepreneurial thinking as the solutions to many of our problems today. I am a project kind of guy who loves to get things started. When I'm not in search of contract work (projects) that I can do during the nights and weekends I can be found working as a mild mannered Digital Content Manager for Babson Executive Education.
