Affirmation of the Day: I learn from every situation
You already know that I just released my first ebook, “I’m Focused Man,” and I’ve been out there hustling letting folks know about it and how it could benefit them. Here are a couple of lessons I learned when I wrote my first book, “Move the Crowd: 30 Days of Hip Hop Affirmations to Change Your Life.”:
- There is a HUGH difference between creating and promoting: I put a lot into my first book and did not realize that I actually had to market and promote it. I was dead after the creation. Not this time, I created and I was ready to promote this bad boy so it can have the impact it was meant to have on this world.
- No man is an island: I had some help with my first book, but I did not have people working with me to help promote (don’t get me wrong, you will always have to be the biggest promoter for your creation). This time I involved folks in the creation process and continue to invite folks to help me promote. I don’t only ask for the help, but I tell them ways they can do it.
