The Day I Discovered I Was Black

The Day that I found out I was Black really breaks down an experience I had when I was training to become a life coach. I found my self being coached by members of the class (that is normal), after I did not push my but it really wasn’t working. One dude decided to take a stretch and go with his gut and ask me, “Mike, are you trying to do everything that is non-stereotypical of a Black man?” Bold move, but it was one that had me stop and think. You’ll have to watch the video for more details.

You’ll Learn:

  • How to expand your range
  • Appreciation for building new skills and still being who you are at your core

I’d love to hear your stories of discovery. Leave a comment below.

As always my goal is to help you Run the Point from where you are, with what you have.

I have a deep desire to help spread entrepreneurial thinking as the solutions to many of our problems today. I am a project kind of guy who loves to get things started. When I'm not in search of contract work (projects) that I can do during the nights and weekends I can be found working as a mild mannered Digital Content Manager for Babson Executive Education.
