Affirmation of the Day: Everything I do, I do it big..screaming that’s nothing

Today I will be at Babson College Forum on Entrepreneurship and Innovation.  I am looking forward rubbing elbows with other entrepreneurs.  I have my new suit and bow tie ready to go.  There is something about surrounding yourself with the kind of people that you want to be with and like that is special.

The impact of our enviroment can have an impact on how well we perform.  You want to surround yourself with people who are proactivity and either grow at the same rate you are or are in the position you wish to be in the future.  It can sometimes seem intimidating to be around people who are doing big and great things, but remember they are no different then you are.  That can and will be you in a matter of time.  As Emerson put it,

“Do not envy or feel inferior when you read of a great soul. So they were great. So what? Did they use up greatness? No! Your own actions have as much potential to affect the future if you would be exactly what you are–fully and truly”

Hey when I wanted to write a book on hip hop, I connected with People who wrote a book about hip hop.  As I strive to build my coaching and speaking business, I am surrounding myself with folks who are dealmakers.  If you are one of them, don’t hesitate to connect with me.
