Affirmation of the Day: I trust that i’m am not alone in what I feel so I speak boldly for myself and others
I’m tempted to bust out into MJ’s “You are not alone,” but I will spare you the agony of having to listen to me sing.
The truth is, we all have a song in our heart and sometimes we hesitate to sing for fear others won’t understand or will look at us funny. But, when we decide to sing despite those feelings we are usually met with, “I’m so glad you said that, I was feeling the same way” (sometimes publicly and sometimes behind the scenes where no one else is listening).
I DARE YOU to trust your inner voice as one that is not yours alone. Need help? When you hear that inner voice tell yourself, “The only reason i’m having this thought is because it’s already in the room, but no one is saying it!” Go for it, that’s my secret technique. A gift from me to you.
