Affirmation of the Day: I understand the art and science of my work
This lyric really made me think about the video interview conducted by Forbes of Jay-Z and Warren Buffet. Warren Buffet mentioned that we have the smarts and we have the energy, now just learn the habits of success. Studying and discipline is where the science comes into play.
I remember asking a couple of people I thought I knew well questions about their daily routine. The answers I received just blew me away. I learned that success really does have a science to it. These folks weren’t successful by accident. They knew the skills they needed to learn so they went about learning and practicing them until they became good at it.
