Hip Hop Affirmation of the Day#269

“I NEVER SHOWED SIGNS OF FATIGUE OR TURNED TIRED, ‘CAUSE I’M THE DEFINITION OF TRAGEDY TURNED TRIUMPH.” ~The Roots ft. John Legend (The Fire)
Affirmation of the Day: I am triumphant

Still on The Roots song, “The Fire,” with still more lyrics to be taken from this one song.  This is the first time that I have been able to pull so many affirmations from a single song and I’m loving it.  Shout out The Roots and John Legend for this one.  I’m about to listen to their new collaborative album called “Wake up.”
My personal tragedy turned triumph took place when I was a Freshman in high school and decided that I would go to school everyday, but never go to class.  My dad straightened me out and I did all I could to graduate with my peers.  I went to summer school and night school–I wasn’t aware of summer night school or I would have done that too.  I graduated on time and with an above average GPA.  Thank God for the ability to change directions.  How have you done the same in your life?
Question of the Day: How have you turned tragedy to triumph in your life?  Share your story, it could be the one that has the greatest impact on someone else.
