Affirmation: I own my power cleanly and with pride

I had a great conversation with a friend this morning who I was trying to convince to start a blog or a travel diary since they travel so much and have expressed interest in starting a conceige service.  I up the ante and told them I could see them having an international conceige service where people would come to them when they want to get the scoop on places around the globe–not just NYC.  They weren’t buying it and weren’t very interested in the idea….well why not?

Turns out they did not want to be criticized for the things they wrote or have people have the feeling or even say, “Who do you think you are to be writing this stuff and bragging about the different places you have been.  Don’t you know there are people suffering and starving in those countries.”  Wow, that is a lot for anyone person to bear on their shoulders.

I could think the same thing about what I do with my sharing and providing insight on a number of different topics through my hip hop affirmations site.  My thought is that if you are blessed with a situation you should share it with folks.  It is not your problem how they chose to reacte.  In many cases they are not taking action towards the things they want in their own life so why are you listening to them.  The Ambassador says, pull a T.I. on them–no don’t pull out any guns on ’em– “Live your life” and use what you have been blessed with to help others and yourself prosper.  If we do not act because of the naysayers we are not adding to anything to the world and we are actually taking away a message that could make the difference in someone’s life.

Please be the bold beautiful person that you were made to be.

Question of the Day: What have you been holding back on because you are afraid someone will criticize you?

Action of the Day: Remember this tidbit–If you take action people will talk about you; if you don’t take action people will talk about.  You might as well take action and get something done.

Run the Point from where you are, with what you have!

Your Ambassador,

Mike Bruny
