Affirmation of the Day: I am so much bigger than my current surroundings
Today is my first full day in The Netherlands and we are getting after it! It is 1 p.m. Netherlands time and we already did our morning exercises, headed out to the venue where we will be holding our workshop (about 1hr away), All Aboard: Life Won’t Wait, Why Should you? and had a light lunch.
What have I learned so far? It’s different out here. Besides the language (a brother is trying), I have seen and met more cows than people (people=4, cows, horses, sheep=100). I’m in a part of the country that is known as Leiden and am staying in the Penthouse suite where I have a beautiful view of the city, countryside and I can get a slight smell of the ocean if the wind is blowing just right.
What else have I learned is the power of bringing people together. My presentation partner, Karen, and I are creating something really special that we could not have created on our own. There is something magical about bringing people together for the sake of creation. If you think that is something, wait until we actually have the workshop and see what our participants are going to help create in the moment. Stay tuned for Ambassador Bruny’s adventures from The Netherlands.
