Affirmation of the Day: I am wise enough to know where to focus my energy

I had to go with back to back K’naan.  This lyric just caught my attention and got the coveted, “Yo, did you hear that” reaction.  It reminded me of the work I do with Intel as an Operations Manager and some of the interesting people that I work with (yes, I do all kinds of stuff beside write hip hop affirmations and run a coaching business).  Being the change agent that I am, I’ve been able to assist some folks in learning to light candles instead of cursing the dark.  On the other hand there are people who have been labeled as C.A.V.E men or woman (Constantly Against Virtually Everything).  These people can find the negative in the most positive thing or best of intentions.  What do I do?  I end up spending way to much time with these folks trying to convert them (I carry holy water with me).  Not a good move according to one of my mentors, “You are better off focusing on those who are willing to make things happen then those who are not.”  What’s your opinion? We’d like to know.

Question of the Day: Where do you focus your energy when it is dark?

Action of the Day: Be the person who provides a different perspective beside Doom and Gloom
