Affirmation of the Day: “I always try my best, again and again.”

If you have nothing to lose and everything to gain, why not give it a shot?  I’ve got my eyes on the prize as I work on building Run the Point Enterprises and Hip Hop Affirmations.  Plans have been made and continually are adjusted day to day as needed.  The one thing that is certain is that we are going for it–whatever it may be.  I’ve gotten a sense of how much I can take on and know that I can’t measure it by anyone else’s standard or capacity.

A couple of years back when I started working for Intel, I also started my path towards becoming a certified life coach, decided to buy a house and was a professional speaker for Monster.com.  To some I was taking on too much, but for me I just could not let the opportunities pass me by.  I made it through and have learned to measure the duration of projects when I take them on.  I suggest you do the same.  For example, When I had Intel, Monster and coaching going on, I knew that Intel was a solid commitment with no end date, Monster’s speaking was for a season and coaching courses happened one weekend a month.  With that information in clear view, I was able to accomplish all of them successfully.  The technique is physically helpful, but also mentally as you have a sense that the craziness will not go on for-EVER <said very slowly like in the movie “Sandlot”>.

Question of the Day: What are you getting after right now?

Action of the Day: Breakdown the time line of your commitments so you can put everything in perspective.

Run the point from where you are, with what you have!
