Affirmation of the Day: I believe in magic
Ambassador’s Note: As you know my latest dream / wish / vision is a workshop that I am co-creating and co-leading with my partner Karen in Holland during the last week of July.  The workshop is called, “All Aboard: Life won’t wait, why should you?” and is focused on getting people out of the waiting room of their lives and get into action. I am reaching out to my peeps (yes, that’s you) and their peeps for assistance by donating 50K American Airlines flyer miles or cash in any denomination at my “Chipin site,” http://ambassadorbruny.chipin.com . The plan is to reciprocate by bringing the workshop back to the states and bringing you something back from Holland. I’ll create something more formal, but for now, that’s it. Thank you for the support!
Let me pretend for one moment that I know all the steps involved to accomplish all the wonderful things I want to do in this world–if I waited for that statement to be true, I would never take action. For as long as I could remember I was a dreamer. I was a kid with a vision (not necessarily the step by step plan to accomplish it) and at times some well wishing adult or peer would try to get me all tied up in the details and knowing all the steps to accomplish the goal/vision or suggest I move on to something else. So, what has changed for this kid who grew up on Hawthorne Street in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn?– yes, sunflower seeds, quarter water, and Mr. Softee ice cream trucks where staples of my yout (sic.) <in my best Jamaican ascent>
I’m much lighter with it now. I stay with the vision, but I don’t try to kill it with the details of how it’s going to get done. I have learned to share my vision and ask for thoughts and assistance. I’ve also learned to trust myself so I can take feedback and input, but stay true to my vision.
Question of the Day: Do you believe in magic?
Action of the Day: Put logic aside for a second and see what is possible.
Run the Point from where you are, with what you have!
