Hip Hop Affirmation of the Day#244
“WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP, IT’S THE FIRST OF THE MONTH.” ~Bone Thugs N’ Harmony (1st of the Month)
Affirmation of the Day: I use each day, each week, month and year as another opportunity
Ambassador’s Note: The 1st of each month we bring you a message from my man Scott that is focused on marketing and how you can increase your profitability. Take advantage it…and Oh yeah, be sure to send Scott some comment, or twitter love if you are feeling what he is sharing with you. And now to Scott…
Wake up, wake up, it’s the first of the month (any Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony fans in the crowd?) It’s time for my monthly appearance and a break from Ambassador’s shorter affirmation format. My apologies in advance!
August 1st was Part 1 of ‘The Value of Online Video’ (here if you missed it). Today is:
Part 2. Increasing Conversion Rates:
Common Craft found that landing pages with videos increase their conversion rates 300-400% while web pages with video testimonials increase their conversion rates 200-600%. To the marketers out there, think about that second one. If a happy customer documents their happiness in video form instead of simple text, your conversion rates could increase 2-6x. What other day-to-day activities can potentially increase your conversion rate that much? Share in the comments if you have examples. (Thanks to Reel Social Media for those stats)
Using Video for Technical Demonstrations:
For small businesses with limited human resources, using video is a cost effective way to manage technical demonstrations. How can a business with limited staff members demonstrate your product or service WHILE completing tasks that are simultaneously vital to your business?
Thanks to the ever-expanding internet, it is extremely easy to create a demonstration, screencast, or simple Powerpoint/Video file where potential customers can consume critical information, with a personal touch, without verbal or physical interaction. These video demonstrations can dramatically improve time management and help your business be more efficient.
More importantly, video can reach customers who prefer non-invasive marketing and sales techniques. Not surprisingly, many people don’t feel like talking to salesmen/women all the time. Don’t miss out on these potential clients. As the technology further progresses, speaking live with sales departments will become less common. If potential clients can obtain information in a pressure free environment, converting them will become easier.
